Welcome to our trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Elena and I thought that it was going to be slightly cool but we were highly mistaken. It was very hot and even hotter since we wore pants. After we went on Raging Rapids, we were soaked! The great thing about jeans are that they hold the water for a long time when they get wet. In fact, we had to dry out in the sun just to make sure that we were not wet at night. Although we were cool for the rest of the day.
Elena wondered, as with myself and so many other people, why a company would build an amusement park on a hilly terrain. It can get very tiring walking around all day. When we got home, our legs felt as if they had quite the workout.
This was Elena's second trip to the park and my 10th. Everytime that I go, I make sure that I ride all of the rides and sit in the first car. Elena had only been on three rides before. She also thinks that the old roller coasters are scarier than the new ones such as Batman and Riddler's Revenge. The Riddler's Revenge is the only roller coaster that makes me dizzy.
There was hardly anyone at the park so it only took about 20 minutes for each ride. It was Friday so at night when we went on the two big roller coasters, Goliath and Deju Vu, we had to wait 1.5 hours. Those two roller coasters were well worth it.
The food there was comparable to fast food. It was good, and the meat patty on our hamburgers were bigger than McDonalds.
All in all, we had a great time and I was surprised that Elena went on all of the roller coasters with me. She wanted to back out a couple of them after we were on the ride and making the climb. I told her just to scream as loud as she could to release her anxiety and indeed she SCREAMED!!!
