This is definitely the most elegant restaurant on the island. Adorned with a moonlit ocean view, white tablecloths, crystal glasses, and file cabinets along the wall.
Elena had the lobster in a butter sauce which was cooked to perfection and professionally displayed. Frank had the tropical fish sampler complete with clams, oyster, lobster, and mahi mahi. The sauce was excellent and the seafood was impeccable.
We new right away that we were all set for traditional French hospitality. If you're looking to be pampered, this is not the restaurant for you unless you are of French descent. They basically seat you and that's it. Anything that we wanted except for the food, we had to flag down a passing waiter. There was no butter on our table and so Elena took some from the other table.
It turns out that this was the most expensive dinner that we ate while on the island. Albeit because of Elena's lobster. Either way, it was about $85 for two.We didn't have any alcohol or dessert.
